Abstract: The article reports on the Electronic Portfolio (ePortfolio) program developed by six higher learning institutions including Michigan State University and Portland State University. The ePortfolio program aims to assess student learning experiences such as courses in foreign languages through assessment rubrics. It is combined with an on-line student survey for the comparison of the student's demographic data and international learning experiences. It is also consists of course papers, personal journals, photo journals, and personal essays.
