Abstract: Nursing students can learn more from the clinical setting with the incorporation of metacognitive practice. This article shows the benefits of metacognition in educating nursing students and uses examples of student work to offer a pedagogical technique for developing metacognition through social technology. The use of Twitter, ePortfolio, and Blackboard are assessed in this article.
