Abstract: The article focuses on portfolios for job hunt on the Internet. Many public school districts are adding a new feature for prospective teachers--the online employment application. Applicants can use this site at no cost to locate available teaching positions. Music teacher candidates can enhance their application by creating a Web site that showcases their teaching experience and skills. This multimedia e-portfolio will provide immediate visual and aural reinforcement of an applicant's musical and educational accomplishments. An e-portfolio can include pictures, audio and video clips, a resume, a teaching philosophy statement, and indicators of musical and educational achievement.
